OLD FASHIONED GOULASH

One of my childhood’s signature dishes was my grandmother’s old fashioned goulashrecipe (we named it Johnny Marzetti, but it’s also known as American goulash or American Chop Suey).

A huge bowl of grandma’s old fashioned goulash with some melted cheddar cheese on top is simply so warm and cozy. To tell you the truth, I could eat it every day and never get tired of it!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb macaroni
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • garlic salt, pepper, chili powder, & hot sauce to taste
  • 2 (14.5 oz) cans whole stewed tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • Tomato juice as needed

How TO Make It

Cook the macaroni to al dente according to package directions.
